HEART Women & Girls is a non-profit organization that promotes mental health, sexual health, and sexual violence awareness in Muslim communities through health education, advocacy, research, and training.
Khalil Center is a psychological and spiritual community wellness center, advancing the professional practice of psychology, rooted in Islamic theology. Their approach is holistic, and they address the widespread prevalence of social, psychological, familial, relational, and spiritual challenges within Muslim communities.
Institute for Muslim Mental Health is a nonprofit organization that trains and mobilizes mental health professionals, as well as generates scholarly research and knowledge to better serve the larger Muslim community. They are committed to optimizing the Muslim community’s emotional health and well being by mobilizing a network of mental health professionals to ensure all American Muslims have access to high-quality resources.
Muslims and Mental Health Lab -Stanford is a university lab dedicated to creating an academic home for the study of mental health as it relates to the Islamic faith and Muslim populations. The lab aims to provide the intellectual resources to clinicians, researchers, trainees, educators, community and religious leaders working with or studying Muslims.
